Thieves Strike Construction Site

L.A. County Sheriff deputies believe a team of thieves robbed a construction site on Agoura Road over the weekend.

A 600-pound generator, worth about $10,000, was stolen. It had been left chained to a pillar on the side of an unfinished building.

The site foreman said the generator would have required at least four people to move.

Deputies believe grooves on the dirt suggest the generator was dragged to a paved driveway near the lot and loaded into a vehicle.
