Major Road Gets Facelift
July 30, 2010
Thousand Oaks Boulevard in Agoura Hills will be resurfaced.
The construction on the road, which is the main artery of the city between Kana Road and Lindero Canyon Road is projected to last until the first week of September.
The $1.6 million project will include installing speedbumps on Chesebro road and repairing damaged asphalt on the north and south sides of the freeway interchange.
The road will be operational during the construction with at least one lane in each direction open at all times. Construction-related delays are expected weekdays from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Westlake Village completed work on its portion of Thousand Oaks Boulevard three years ago.
