Hilton Foundation Moves to Agoura Hills
June 25, 2010
The Hilton Foundation intends its headquarters to Agoura Hills from its current location in Century City, according to America Online.
Current plans call for the development of a 66-acre space off Agoura Road beneath Ladyface. The four-building complex would be the largest non-residential structure in all of Agoura.
Although some of the structures will extend onto Ladyface itself, the majority of the buildings will be clustered on 15 acres adjacent to Agoura Road. The builders are seeking to create a “native and natural” design look that will also meet U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED Certification.
If building permits are issued as planned, the foundation intends to break ground in February 2011 and complete construction within 16 months.
The Hilton foundation was established the hotel magnet Conrad N. Hilton in 1944. It currently functions as an umbrella non-profit, raising money and donating to a multitude of organizations with various goals.
