Community Expo One Week Away

Next weekend the Agoura Hills Department of Community Services will host the Community Expo at Sumac Park.

The second annual event, which is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sat., May 8, will focus on community issues like the environment, healthy activity and public safety.

Several organizations will provide interactive activities, including Las Virgenes Municipal Water District, the U.S. Marine Corps, Waste Management/G.I. Industries and other public safety groups. Additionally, the expo will feature a bike stunt show and rodeo, Captain Carl’s Mobile Tide Pools, document shredding and and e-waste collection, and entertainment—including a performance by the Agoura Hills/Westlake Village/Las Virgenes Community Jazz Band.
