City Council Unanimously Adopts 25-Year General Plan in Agoura Hills

March 30, 2010

Members of the Agoura Hills City Council unanimously adopted an update to its 25-year General Plan in a 5-0 vote to replace the one drafted in 1993.

The plan, which sets out an overview and guidelines for policy issues that deal with urban planning matters such as land development and is required of all California municipalities, deals primarily with preserving quality of life in the city—particularly when it comes to aesthetic appearance.

The council also certified Agoura Hills’s final environmental impact report. For more on this story, visit the Ventura County Star.
