Agoura Hills Attorneys Owe Moorpark Couple $18K+ in Damages

After a jury returned a guilty verdict for two attorneys at a local law firm Monday, a Superior Court judge awarded a couple almost $20,000 in damages for the attorneys’ double billing and overbilling.

A Moorpark couple, Phillip and Alice Lee, contended Howard Rosen and Paul Zimmerman with the Agoura Hills law firm bearing their last names intentionally and negligently misrepresented them and breached the contract with the couple. A jury agreed, and Superior Court Judge Charles McGrath awarded the Lees more than $18,000 in damages.
