Actor Bruce Dern Getting "Lifetime Achievement" Award in Agoura

Later this month the 12^th annual Method Fest film festival will honor Bruce Dern’s film career with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Dern has appeared in more than 80 films but is perhaps best known for his performances in They Shoot Horses, Don’t They; The Cowboys; The Great Gatsby; and Coming Home. He currently appears in HBO’s series Big Love.

Festival organizers will present the award to Dern prior the screening of The Lightkeepers, in which he stars with Blythe Danner.

Former Lifetime Achievement Award recipients at Method Fest include Dennis Hopper, James Earl Jones, Martin Landau and Christopher Plummer.
